New Office

December 2nd, 2007 by Joyce

I think I officially have a new office. It’s got a radio and CD player, air and heat, a place to sit, and windows that open and close. My windows are open onto a wall of cabinets, my washer and dryer, and some clothes that needed washing since last week. That’s because my new office is my car, and right now it’s sitting in my garage.

Rody

November 27th, 2007 by Joyce · 1 Comment

More on Rody later. For now, watch Carmen and David get acquainted with their Rody yesterday. He’s our new best friend. My biggest regret? I didn’t meet Rody earlier. In the above clip: David is saying the horse can eat hay, and oat groats, our name for the crunchy feed the horses at the George […]

Fiddling

November 20th, 2007 by Joyce

But not in the musical way; we’re still fiddling with the blog whenever we get our little bits of free time and pretend to overlook the mess in the kitchen. Power to the People (In Charge)

September 21st, 2006 by Joyce

Now, in addition to the squeaky CTW franchises and the sugar-coated cartoons on Nickelodeon, we have a channel specifically geared to babies called BabyFirstTV. With 24/7 programming that changes every […]

What DO I say?

September 16th, 2006 by Joyce

Life BB (Before Babies) was in a lot of ways very different. For instance, we could leave the house on a moment’s notice. We could stay up past bedtime on a school night (well, I could, Matt couldn’t). We didn’t need to plan our day around an afternoon nap. We didn’t need to restrict eating […]
